Step-by-Step Instructions for Filling the Online Application Form
Before You Begin
Before proceeding with filling of the Online Application Form, ensure you have all necessary documents and information ready.
Important: The application module requires live photograph capture. Applications with photographs not in accordance with specifications are liable to be rejected.
Photograph Requirements
Live Photograph Capture Instructions
The application module has been designed to capture a photograph of the candidate filling up the application form. Follow these instructions carefully:
- Find a place with good light and a plain background
- Ensure the camera is at eye level before taking the photo
- Position yourself directly in front of the camera and look straight ahead
- Ensure that your face is fully inside the prescribed area delineated by the camera
- Your face should neither be too close nor too far - it should cover the area fully
- No part of your face should be outside the area delineated by the camera
- Do not wear a cap, mask, or glasses/spectacles while capturing the photo
- Do not wear earphones or any device while capturing photos
Note: Do not capture photographs of pre-existing photos. Applications with such photos will be rejected (except for Aadhaar-based authentication submissions).
Candidates unable to capture photos through a camera can use the QR code provided to download an app for Android mobile phones from Google Play Store.
Signature Requirements
Signature Specifications
- Format: JPEG/JPG
- Size: 10 to 20 KB
- Dimensions: Approximately 6.0 cm (width) × 2.0 cm (height)
- Signature should be horizontally aligned
- Online Application Forms with blurred signatures will be rejected
Step-by-Step Application Process
Step 1: Login
Log into the online system through your Registration Number and Password.
Step 2: Access Application
Click the "Apply" link in the "Constable (Executive) Male and Female in Delhi Police Examination, 2025" section under the "Live Examination" tab.
Form Filling Instructions
- 20.1: Indicate your Educational Qualification (EQ) Status
- 20.2: Indicate the Passing year
- 20.3: Indicate the State/UT of the Board
- 20.4: Indicate the Name of the Board
- 20.5: Indicate your Roll Number
- 20.6: Indicate your Percentage (Candidates without percentage due to COVID-19 for 2020-2021 can enter 'NA')
- 20.7: Indicate your CGPA (if applicable)
- 22.1: Date of joining the Armed Forces
- 22.2: Date of Discharge/likely date of Discharge
- 22.3: Length of service in the Armed Forces
- 22.4: Indicate "YES" if you've already joined a civil post using ESM reservation
- 27.1: Select the discipline of your sport
- 28.1: Select appropriate age-relaxation code
- 30.1: Provide details of NCC Certificate (type of certificate)
- 31.1: Provide the name of class obtained in Degree/Post Graduate Diploma
Step 3: Upload Documents
Upload your photograph and signature as per the specifications provided earlier.
Step 4: Declaration
Read the declaration carefully and click on the "I agree" checkbox if you accept the terms. Fill in the Captcha code.
Step 5: Preview and Verify
Preview and verify all information. Use the "Edit/Modify" button to make corrections before final submission. No corrections can be made after final submission.
Step 6: Fee Payment
Proceed to make the fee payment (if not exempted). Payment can be made through online modes only: BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards.
Step 7: Final Submission
When successfully submitted, the status will show as "Application Received (Contents Not Verified)". Take a printout of the Online Application Form for your records.
Final Note: Ensure all information is accurate before final submission. The appearance of the candidate in the examination should match the photograph in the application form.
