Important Note: The number of vacancies is provisional and may change. The Commission has no role in determining the total vacancies or their category-wise segregation.

Ex-Servicemen Quota Information

10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-servicemen in each category of Constable (Executive) Male.

Out of this 10% quota, half (50%) is reserved for Ex-servicemen who have served in the Special Forces/NSG (Special Action Group).

 Selection Process 

The selection of candidates will be a multi-stage process:

Computer-Based Examination (CBE): The first stage is an online objective-type test conducted by SSC. The exam will be available in English and Hindi only.

Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): Candidates who qualify the CBE will be called for PE&MT, which will be scheduled and conducted by the Delhi Police in Delhi. This test is qualifying in nature.

Document Verification: Required certificates and documents will be verified during the PE&MT stage by the Delhi Police.

Medical Examination: Final selected candidates will undergo a medical examination.

Final Merit: The final result will be declared by the SSC based on the candidate's performance in the Computer-Based Examination, subject to qualifying the PE&MT.

 Key Points to Remember 

The post is not identified as suitable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Candidates from all parts of the country are eligible to apply.

The application form will be accepted only in online mode.

The government encourages women candidates to apply to reflect gender balance in the workforce.

Grievances related to PE&MT/Document Verification must be raised before the Delhi Police Recruitment Board on the same day; no representations will be considered after ward.
