Selection Process
The selection for EMRS posts is a multi-tiered process:
Tier-I (Preliminary Examination):
OMR-based (Pen and Paper mode).
100 marks, 2 hours duration.
Qualifying in nature.
Tier-II (Main Examination):
Combination of Objective and Descriptive questions.
100 marks (40 Objective + 60 Descriptive).
3 hours duration.
Tier-III (Post Specific):
For Principal: Personal Interview (40 marks).
For JSA: Skill Test (Typing Test).
Final Merit Calculation:
For Principal: 80% weightage from Tier-II score + 20% weightage from Interview.
For all other posts: 100% weightage from Tier-II score.
